At Anchor Point Counselling, I support people to find the tools that work for them to feel grounded during times of crisis or ongoing mental health challenges. The name comes from the phrase “Anchor through the storm,” reflecting the belief that storms pass, pain isn’t permanent, and recovery is achievable.

I offer Telehealth counselling for a diverse range of clients, including veterans, women in crisis, and people living with disability or psychosocial challenges. Sessions provide a safe, supportive space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Together, we work on coping strategies, stress management, and building skills to support your mental health and daily living.

Our Services

NDIS Funded Services

If your NDIS plan is self-managed or plan-managed, my counselling services can be claimed under the Improved Daily Living category. Please note that NDIS counselling must be related to goals in your plan, and I can work with you to ensure sessions align with these goals.

Counselling under the NDIS provides a safe, supportive space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Sessions can help you manage stress, develop coping strategies, work through challenges, and build skills to support your mental health and daily living.

Independently Funded Services

For independently funded clients, no referral is required. You can contact me directly to begin the intake process. Services are paid via bank transfer according to the invoice

Our Fees & Cancellation Policy

The hourly charge for counselling sessions with individuals is $156.16.

If using NDIS funding, Invoices will be emailed to your nominated plan manager at the conclusion of each session. Please ensure that you have given me these details in the service agreement provided.

Therapists are at times required to provide progress reports to Participants and the NDIA. This progress report outlines plan objectives and goals and whether goals are being met. Please be aware that reports will only be invoiced as required.
