I’ve always been drawn to listening and supporting people through life’s challenges.
I know how powerful it can be to have a safe space where your thoughts and feelings are truly heard. That’s why I became a counsellor.
Hi, I’m Erin.
Over the years, I’ve often been told that I’m easy to talk to, and that I’ve helped people through some tough times. I’ve always found that incredibly rewarding, and it sparked a desire in me to explore this further and make counselling my career. I genuinely enjoy supporting people to feel heard, understood, and supported, no matter what challenges they’re facing.
I hold a Diploma in Counselling and have years of experience working in the Disability and Mental Health sectors. I’m also registered with Certified Practising Counsellors Australia (CPCA).
I bring both professional training and lived experience to my work. My approach is warm, respectful, and non-judgemental, creating a space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. I focus on building trusting relationships so together we can work towards clarity, resilience, and hope.
Whether you’re facing everyday challenges, mental health concerns, or seeking personal growth, I’m here to support you along your journey.
Why Anchor Point?
The name Anchor Point comes from the idea of grounding.
For me, it began with the phrase “Anchor through the storm.” At Anchor Point, my goal is to help people find the tools that work for them to feel grounded during crisis or ongoing mental health challenges. It’s also about remembering that storms pass, pain isn’t permanent, and recovery is achievable.
